We can pretty much guarantee that Meghan Markle will wear these gorgeous Givenchy looks

On Sunday night in Paris, Clare Waight Keller, the designer of Meghan Markle‘s wedding dress and artistic director for Givenchy, unveiled her dazzling new fall 2018 couture collection.

The show was set in the gardens of the Archives Nationales in Paris. The collection featured long, capelet dresses (that Meghan is already a fan of), a tricolor Grecian draped gown, a shimmery blue beaded maxigown, a one-shouldered velvet dress with metallic fringes, and much more. The gowns were majestic, regal, elegant, and the perfect attire for the newly minted duchess. The runway on which the models walked featured a reflective metallic sheen that helped amplify the gowns’ lustrousness and complemented many of the models’ metallic details, like the harnesses and warrior-evoking chokers.

In this couture collection, Keller was the first artist director to pay homage to the late founder, Hubert de Givenchy, who died in March. “Having met him, and the fact that he passed three months ago, he felt very present in my mind; his legacy felt like something that needed to be celebrated,” Keller says backstage.

In addition to Hubert de Givenchy, Audrey Hepburn was a recognizable inspiration on the runway. Hepburn served as Givenchy’s muse during the ’50s and ’60s. Her famous little black dress designed by Givenchy in Breakfast at Tiffany’s was reimagined as a velvet gown with a black monastic hood. Hepburn and Givenchy were one of the first designer and celebrity collaborations, having partnered on several of Hepburn’s films, including Sabrina and Funny Face. Hepburn’s celebrity status helped draw global recognition to the fashion house during this era. Now in 2018, similar comparisons can be made about Meghan and Keller. Meghan’s celebrity stature has undoubtedly bolstered both Givenchy and Keller’s global status.

In fact, Meghan’s royal wedding dress had reportedly earned Givenchy $1.7 million in media value. But clearly, Meghan is still a big fan. She has continued to wear bespoke designs by Keller: one during her first royal outing with the queen and the second at Royal Ascot. Meghan and Keller have undoubtedly forged a relationship that will lead Givenchy into its next era.

Ahead, see 10 gorgeous looks from the Givenchy fall 2018 couture collection that Meghan will almost certainly wear in the future.
