The 2014 Memorial Cup semifinal game pitted the Val-d'Or Foreurs, champions of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, against the Edmonton Oil Kings, the Western Hockey League champions. Edmonton won 4-3 in triple overtime to advance to the final game against the Guelph Storm.
