Hillary turns 70: Celebs who are still with her

Nearly a year after Hillary Clinton ran an unsuccessful campaign to become president of the United States — as the first female nominee of a major U.S. political party — she’s continued to be outspoken about the causes that she championed. She’s also maintained her friendships with Katy Perry, Tom Hanks, and other celebs. As Clinton turns 70 on Oct. 26, check out the celebs who still say, “I’m with her.”

Hillary Clinton and Katy Perry

Just a few weeks after the election, Clinton presented her pal Katy Perry with the Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award at UNICEF’s Snowflake Ball. “We need champions like Katy now more than ever: her passion, her energy, and, yes, her voice, louder than a lion,” Clinton said of the “Roar” singer. Hillary Clinton and Tom Hanks

Clinton was thrilled to encounter her friend Tom Hanks at a children’s charity event in May, in case you can’t tell. But then, who wouldn’t be happy to run into that guy? (Photo: Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for SeriousFun)

Hillary Clinton and Miley Cyrus

Just this month, Miley Cyrus explained her feelings about Clinton when she wrote her a thank-you note on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “Thank you, Hillary, for being a constant beacon of strength, hope, and determination for me and millions of other young women,” Cyrus wrote in part. It ended with her asking Clinton for a hug. (Photo: Andrew Lipovsky/NBC/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images)

Hillary Clinton and Octavia Spencer

Hidden Figures star Octavia Spencer got some love from the What Happened author at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball. While Spencer doesn’t look embarrassed here, the actress later told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show that their meeting was somewhat awkward on her part. Hillary Clinton and Jimmy Fallon

Fallon made sure to shake hands with Clinton at a May fundraiser for kids. He’s done it several times before, as he welcomed her on The Tonight Show. (Photo: Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for SeriousFun)

Hillary Clinton and Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian included a pic of an inscribed copy of Clinton’s latest book on Snapchat, which is pretty much the ultimate compliment from the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. (Photo: Kim Kardashian via Instagram)

Hillary Clinton and Anna Wintour

Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour is very particular about what she likes and doesn’t like — it’s also literally her job to be that way — and she definitely likes Clinton. The two shared a hug in February as they unveiled a collection of U.S. postage stamps designed by Oscar de la Renta. (Photo: Nicholas Hunt/Getty Images)
