Heartbreak for Canada in 4x100m relay

After believing that they had come in third, the Canadian team of Justyn Warner, Gavin Smellie, Oluseyi Smith and Jared Connaughton had the bronze medal snatched from their grasp. Canada was disqualified after it was ruled that Connaughton stepped out of his lane during the third leg of the race. The Jamaican team set a new world record en route to the gold while the U.S. took silver and Trinidad and Tobago moved into third. Following the race, Usain Bolt unsuccessfully tried to keep the baton.
