Canada wins two gold, bronze on Day 8 of the Sochi Paralympics

Day 8 was a golden one for Canada at the Sochi Paralympics. The Canadian wheelchair curling team cruised to victory, beating Russia 8-3. Sixteen-year-old Mac Marcoux of Ontario won gold in the men's giant slalom, visually-impaired race, his third medal of these Paralympics. Finally, the Canadian sledge hockey team won bronze, defeating Norway 3-0.
