Canada strikes gold on Day 3 of the Paralympic Winter Games

Para-Nordic skier Brian McKeever won Canada's first gold medal of the Paralympic Winter Games in the 20km classic, visually-impaired race. It was the eighth gold medal of McKeever's illustrious career. Also on Day 3, the Canadian wheelchair curling team dropped its first game of the Paralympic tourney, losing 8-6 to Norway. So far, the Canadian team has a 4-1 record, tying them for first overall with host nation Russia.
