Amazing photographs of rare white animals

Yahoo News Photo Staff

This collection of photographs shows an array of amazing and rare white animals.

The rarity of the white animal is just one reason these photographs are so magical – however it is the range of animals that really demonstrate the rarity.

Some, such as the white elephant, taken by Anatoly Berman, can be seen standing with a completely white body, whereas Alba – the white orangutan, from Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation, can be seen with piercing blue eyes.

Alongside the rarities is a white puffin, taken by Mike Bodman, who’s dazzling white breast contradicts its signature orange beak.

However, closer to home than the more exotic animals, the crisp white deer was spotted in London’s Richmond Park by photographer Mark Bridger. (Caters News)
