While our Jersey Fouls posts highlight the best of the worst in customized hockey jerseys, the joy of minor and junior hockey is the promotion-driven creations that quickly become infamous. From jerseys making players look like cops and inmates to those honoring "Star Wars" characters to, well, the monstrosities that the Albany River Rats donned last season, there's always a team out there willing to up the ante for a memorable look.
This is where the Western Hockey League's Saskatoon Blades come in. Behold the denim jacket hockey jersey!
On Friday, Nov. 12, the Blades will be hosting the Portland Winterhawks. In anticipation of the following weekend's PBR Canadian Cup National Finals in Saskatoon, the Blades, along with Wrangler jeans, have created quite the unique jersey to celebrate the event.
The details right down to the pockets and stitching are what really makes this jersey awfully awesome. Makes you want to get in your car and hope there's a Chess King liquidator in your area with an overstock of denim outfits, doesn't it? So, with that:
Pass or Fail: The Western Hockey League Saskatoon Blades "denim" jersey.
