    Canadiens sign defenceman Adam Engstrom to three-year, entry-level contract

    MONTREAL — The Montreal Canadiens signed defenceman Adam Engstrom to a three-year, entry-level contract on Friday. The 20-year-old Engstrom had four goals and 18 assists in 51 games for Rögle BK of the Swedish Hockey League this season, ranking second among defencemen on his team with 22 points.
