Zbigniew Boniek expects Roma to have ‘extra push’ with Claudio Ranieri in charge
Former Roma player and UEFA executive Zbigniew Boniek spoke of the return of Claudio Ranieri to the Giallorossi.
In an interview with Kiss Kiss Napoli, Boniek was asked about the impact of Ranieri’s arrival ahead of the match against Napoli.
“With Ranieri’s arrival, Roma will have an extra push, something has changed in terms of morale and conviction,” said the Polish director.
“I think they will play with 4 at the back, then we will also have to see how the match evolves,” he added.
“Ranieri must fix something, Roma has a difficult schedule: they play in Naples, then against Tottenham and Atalanta.”
“They are three opponents who create problems for you, if you fall against them you will then have trouble getting out of this situation.”
