SENIOR FRONT END ENGINEER

Required technical skills and experience:
• Work on the #1 Sports Product for desktop and mobile browsers with an emphasis on emotional experiences and constant attention to scalability, performance, accessibility and cross-browser performance.
• Partner with Product and Design to redesign and implement user interfaces
• Map product requirements to engineering tasks, perform due diligence to identify dependencies
• Participate in Yahoo engineering community, discuss and provide input on best practices
• Lead the way in quality, reliability and quantity of work output
• Clearly understand, implement and evangelize best practices such as TDD, CI etc…
• Experience with PHP, node.js, React.js, React Native
• Experience with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Web site performance, Web3.0

SPORTS APP SENIOR iOS ENGINEER

If you're an experienced, motivated engineer who is passionate about mobile app development and building high quality, engaging products. You are curious, driven, and enjoy challenging work.

Location: Mountain View, California, or 100% remote.

Required technical skills and experience:
• Code in Swift — to help build and evolve our Sports iOS App — with an emphasis on quality, performance, testability, modularity and maintainability

• Collaborate with other engineers and designers to help define, build and deliver new features, and further modernize our codebase

• Demonstrate engineering leadership and expertise through technical and architecture design guidance, code reviews, embodying coding best practices, performance optimizing, build pipeline and automation support, mentoring

• Own and deliver — from the small must-do tasks, to large, complex projects with many moving parts – this includes leading projects and development initiatives

• Share your opinions on, and help drive, our technical direction, best practices, product designs/ideas, team processes, peer feedback - we value, and depend on, your input!
