Yahoo Daily Fantasy's Gameweek 21 Dreamteam

Another Daily Fantasy Gameweek is done and dusted so who made our Dreamteam this week?

Gameweek 21 was a remarkable round of scoring, where 5 of the top 6 scorers were forwards – and the other was a defender. In fact no midfielders were in the top 7 – that final spot was taken by a goalkeeper.

The standout player of the round was Tottenham’s Harry Kane who bounced spectacularly back from a tough match against Chelsea (3.5 points) with 49.15 against West Brom. His three goals, 10 shots and 7 on target saw him score almost 20 more points than the next-best Marcos Alonso (31.25).

But Kane wasn’t the only forward to star – Stoke’s Marko Arnautovic scored 2 goals from 4 shots in the Potter’s 3-1 win over Sunderland and Hull’s Abel Hernandez makes our team as the utility player after scoring 25.7 points. Congratulations if you selected those two – Hernandez was in just 0.30% of teams while Arnautovic was in a paltry 0.018%! Other forwards you just missed out were Peter Crouch and Alexis Sanchez with 21.5 points and 18.4 respectively.

In was a low-scoring round for midfielders, it was Liverpool’s stand-in left back James Milner and West Ham winger Michail Antonio who top scored with 16.3 each. They both got their points in very different ways – Antonio with 3 assists and 4 successful crosses, Milner with a goal, 4 crosses and 3 fouls and a corner won. Antonio’s teammate Sofiane Feghouli makes his first appearance in the Dreamteam with 15.2 points, while Kevin Mirallas scored a goal and an assist in Everton’s 4-0 win ove Manchester City which saw him score 14.9 points.

At the back, Fantasy favourite Marcos Alonso scored a remarkable 31.25 points after he scored twice and kept a cleansheet in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Leicester. Spurs’ fullback-come-winger Kyle Walkeralso made our Dreamteam thanks to a block, a cleansheet and an assist against West Brom. A strong defensive performance from Middlesbrough’s Fabio saw him score 10.9 points to just edge put Nacho Monreal (10.8) and Donald Love (10.4). In goal, it was once again Burnley’s captain Tom Heaton who top scored with 17.5.
