Wout Weghorst completes Ajax switch

Wout Weghorst has completed his move to Dutch giants Ajax.

Weghorst returns to his homeland having last played in the Eredivisie for AZ back in 2018.

The towering striker joins on a two-year deal with Ajax reportedly paying Burnley a fee in the region of €5m.

The 32-year-old leaves the Championship side having struggled to find the back of the net in England, scoring just twice at Turf Moor since joining in 2022.
