Hockey’s greatest rivalry is set to take the spotlight during the 2020 NHL All-Star Weekend in St. Louis, Missouri.

A 3-on-3 matchup featuring the top women’s hockey players from the United States and Canada will take place at some point during the festivities, according to Emily Kaplan of ESPN.

The NHL is expected to announce full details later this week.

Last year, it was Kendall Coyne Schofield that dropped the jaws of the hockey universe when she finished the fastest skater event. Fortunately for this year, there will be more game action, instead of the players being restricted to just the individual skill activities.

All of the women selected will be part of the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association. The PWHPA is a group of around 200 athletes with the goal to “promote, advance, and support a single, viable professional women’s ice hockey league in North America that showcases the greatest product of women’s professional ice hockey in the world.”
