Wisconsin K to wear No. 27 in honor of Sam Foltz

Wisconsin kicker Rafael Gaglianone will honor Nebraska punter Sam Foltz in 2016.

The team said Monday Gaglianone would wear Foltz’s No. 27. Foltz was killed in a car accident along with former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler Saturday night. LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye was injured in the crash and his father said Colby doesn’t remember how he got out of the accident.

From the day i met you i have looked up to you, not only for what you could do on the field but mostly for the person you were outside of it. You have impacted my life and the life of so many around you, there is not a single person that ever talked to you and did not love you. Like many of the kickers and punters i have been fortunate enough to meet during camps, you were like family to me. A junior in 2016, Gaglianone was 18-27 on field goals in 2015 and 40-40 on PATs.
