While Giants were practicing, injured CB Janoris Jenkins was tweeting insult at fan
At any point in the day, New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins shouldn’t say what he did on Twitter to an angry fan.
Doing it while the rest of his teammates were practicing? That’s bad.
According to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com, Jenkins was out of practice due to an ankle injury. During the practice, Jenkins responded to a fan who asked him why the stats he was citing wasn’t contributing to any wins.

Jenkins should have just deleted the response before hitting send.
Janoris Jenkins tweets insult during practice
For some reason, Jenkins decided to share some of his stats on Wednesday, then got testy when someone pointed out the Giants’ success. New York Is 2-11 this season.

Yikes. The Giants were aware of it before coach Pat Shurmur met wit the media.
Giants not happy with Jenkins’ tweet
Shurmur, as one can imagine, wasn’t thrilled that his top cornerback was tweeting insults at fans during practice, not to speak of the inappropriate term he used.
"I was just made aware of it as I was going through the injury report, and he shouldn't be tweeting during practice," Shurmur said, according to ESPN.com.
The term “retard” is widely viewed as insensitive and offensive to those with disabilities.
Jenkins might be trying the Giants’ patience. After a game against the Packers earlier this season in which Davante Adams, Jenkins criticized defensive coordinator James Bettcher’s plan to not have him shadow the opponent’s top receiver.
It’s a reminder that nothing good is going to come from tweeting during practice.
