Russell Westbrook just seems bored at this point.
Constantly finding new ways to toy with his opponents, the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard (and part-time magician) pulled a special rabbit out of the hat Thursday against the Toronto Raptors.
Just before crossing half court, Westbrook chucked a bomb and that embarrassed Raptors guard Cory Joseph and found a streaking Victor Oladipo for an easy two.
The MVP candidate finished with yet another triple-double (his 34th of the season) as he handed the struggling Raptors another home loss. Westbrook is averaging an obscene 31.8 points, 10.3 assists and 10.6 rebounds per game this season and is on pace to become the second player in NBA history – and first since Oscar Robertson in 1961-62 – to finish the season averaging a triple double.
He also leads the NBA in the unquantifiable statistic of plays that make you say “wow”.
