With/Out is an re-interpretation of Paddy’s monologue, first presented through The Necessary Stage’s Completely With/Out Character.

The monologue was a candid account of Paddy Chew’s experiences as the first person to come out with HIV in Singapore.

Through the use of archived material and new content created by Loo Zihan, alongside award-winning performer Janice Koh, With/Out weaves together a multimedia experience that preserves our collective memory of Paddy’s monologue and relates it to our contemporary experience.

Join conservators from the Heritage Conservation Centre as they share their knowledge on how to care for your treasured family heirlooms, be they your most cherished jewellery, photographs, or wedding trousseau.

They will be introducing ways to determine the condition of the items, factors that can cause deterioration, as well as preventive measures such as proper storage and handling techniques that can help prolong the lifespan of your heirlooms.

Warring Warriors: The Fundamentals of Rugby

The second season of rugby has just begun at the Singapore Sports Hub, and from March to May, there will be two big international tournaments taking place here. The Singapore Sports Museum has also launched a rugby exhibition titled “Warring Warriors: The Fundamentals of Rugby”, showcasing the history and growth of the sport in our country.

World Gourmet Summit Singapore 2017

How Loneliness Goes

Local photographer Nguan captures the ideas of detachment and loneliness through a series of pastel-toned photographs. First showcased during the 2015 M1 Singapore Fringe Festival, the exhibition returns with new images on show.

Collecting Magic: From Stamps to Wands

Dive into the world of Harry Potter at a Harry Potter-themed exhibition. Here, you can find Harry Potter-themed stamps from around the world, including the world’s first licensed stamp set issued by Taiwan. Other collectibles and movie memorabilia you can catch include a replica of the Monster Book of Monsters, a textbook used by students in the movie, as well as a LEGO-bricks display of Gringotts.

Studio Ghibli Artworks at Polar Bear Gallery

Studio Ghibli fans are in for a treat as Polar Bear Gallery brings you a permanent display of original celluloids from popular Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki. Works by Naohisa Inoue, who’s behind the surrealist background art for Whisper of the Heart, are also on display.

Nyonya Needlework: Embroidery and Beadwork in the Peranakan World
