Wayne Rooney shouldn’t have turned down the Chinese Super League

It looks like Wayne Rooney won’t be needing his Chinese phrasebook just yet.

On Thursday, the Manchester United striker issued a statement making it clear that he hopes to stay to help Jose Mourinho’s side “in its fight for success on four fronts.”

However, Wayne’s relevance is on the wane. His role within the Red Devils team is decreasing and he is missing opportunities to stay match fit and put himself in the shop window.

In the latest FC Yahoo video, it is argued that the Chinese Super League is actually his best choice right now – and he shouldn’t have spurned their riches.
