Watford vs West Ham: Premier League prediction, team line-ups and where to watch on TV and online

David Moyes begins his reign as West Ham manager against Watford on Sunday with a mandate to steer the club away from the relegation zone.

A 4-1 home loss to Liverpool led to Slaven Bilic's sacking and the former Everton and Manchester United manager was quickly hired despite a backlash from a section of the support.

Watford have not picked up a point since beating Arsenal, defeats to Chelsea, Stoke and Everton, as the club have dropped from fourth to ninth and Marco Silva will be wary of any new manager bounce from the Hammers.

Watford will assess Andre Carrillo’s fitness after he helped Peru qualify for the World Cup. Striker Carrillo was part of the side that beat New Zealand in a two-legged play-off to reach Russia 2018 and he has travelled thousands of miles in the past week.

Carrillo then faced a 6,300-mile flight back to London. Watford will be without the suspended Troy Deeney for the clash at Vicarage Road.

Heurelho Gomes is back in contention after recovering from a head injury. Defender Christian Kabasele (back) has also been passed fit while midfielder Roberto Pereyra and Sebastian Prodl (both hamstring) face late fitness tests.

Younes Kaboul (hamstring) is again expected to miss out and Nathaniel Chalobah remains sidelined with a knee injury.
