The 100th 24 Hours of Le Mans is happening this weekend, and while that's important for a lot of reasons, we're mostly interested in one thing: NASCAR's Garage 56 Camaro entry. It won the race's pit stop challenge yesterday using a floor jack, and now with practice sessions under way, we get to hear it lapping Circuit de la Sarthe at full tilt.

The LeMansVidz YouTube channel published a video showing the Hendrick Motorsports-backed Camaro cutting it up with GT3 and prototype entries during Wednesday's free practice sessions, its naturally aspirated V-8 on full blast throughout. The Garage 56 entry features a number of modifications over your standard NASCAR stock car, including paddle shifters, carbon-ceramic brakes, a heaping of extra aero, and about 400 pounds of light-weighting.

Jenson Button, Jimmie Johnson, and Mike Rockenfeller are set to drive the Camaro throughout the race this weekend. We can't help but feel a little patriotic each time we hear it roar past the camera, all eight-cylinders blaring as it elbows through corners with Porsche 911 GT3s and Toyota LMPs.
