USHL's Tri-City Storm score with wiener dog races

The USHL’s Tri-City Storm, based in Kerney, Neb., have a viral hit on their hands thanks to an intermission promotion that features two things everyone loves: Sports and dachshunds (aka wiener dogs).

What makes the video even more compelling is the great call by Storm play-by-play announcer David Fine, who knows that wiener dog racing is obviously serious stuff.

The eventual winner, Scooby, actually beat out his sister, Lola, for the coveted Tri-City title, so one can only imagine the kind of trash talking that is going on now at home.

The team also posted a motivational video showing how hard these dogs worked to prepare for their 15 minutes of fame.
