Hope you’ve got the wings on deck! Find out how to watch Super Bowl 2024 in this complete guide to game.
It's Sunday, February 11, 2024 and Super Bowl LVIII (58 in Roman numerals, or Super Bowl 2024 if you don’t have time for that, like this writer) is finally here. For all the football fans out there, the Kansas City Chiefs will be competing against the San Francisco 49ers in a highly-anticipated game.
For the non-football fans, the Halftime Show is a big a draw as any to get sports-ish folks to tune into the game, and is consistently one of the most important music events of the year. Last year, Rihanna performed the (newly renamed) Apple Music Halftime Show — her first live performance in years — and broke the Internet when she debuted her second pregnancy onstage. This year, Usher will take the field, the stage, and America‘s hearts with his Halftime performance, one Apple Music teases has been “30 years in the making.”
And while it's typical for the Halftime Show to bring out huge numbers of celebrities in the stands, this year, there will be one celebrity in particular many viewers will be looking out for.
In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, Taylor Swift is currently dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Tayvis has become a pop culture artifact in itself, dominating the zeitgeist for a steady five months. Thanks to the Chiefs' AFC Championship win, Kelce will head into his third Super Bowl — a career milestone many believe his girlfriend absolutely cannot miss, tour schedules be damned.
Below, find out how to watch Super Bowl 2024 via livestream or TV, so you don't miss a moment of Swift-watching, Usher, or, of course, the big game.
Who is playing in Super Bowl 2024?
The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will go head to head in this year’s Super Bowl, as determined on Sunday, January 28, when the Chiefs won the AFC Championship over the Baltimore Ravens and the 49ers won the NFC Championship over the Detroit Lions.
Who is performing the Super Bowl 2024 Apple Music Halftime Show?
Usher is the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show performer, a feat achieved right on the heels of one of the biggest years of his career. The surprise guests Usher could bring out range in speculation from Ludacris, Lil Jon, and his former protégé Justin Bieber. Alicia Keys is reportedly confirmed to join Usher on the field of Nevada's Allegiant Stadium, but we'll have to tune in at halftime to see who from his long list of collaborators Usher has tapped to share this special, career-defining moment with him. The Halftime Show is notoriously, mind-bogglingly 13 minutes long. However, Usher Raymond's Halftime set will be longer at 15. The King of R&B (and Las Vegas) is about to give us a s-h-o-w.
