Watch: Leon Draisaitl finally notches first power-play point of season

Leon Draisaitl posted his first power-play point of the season on Saturday.

The swagger that made Leon Draisaitl such a potent power-play threat last season has been all but invisible through the first part of the 2017-18 campaign.

The Oilers forward took the first step in regaining his mojo on the man advantage with his first PP point of the season on Saturday, a primary assist on Milan Lucic’s second-period tally. It was the 22-year-old’s 21st point of the season but just his first on the power play.

A frigid spell with the man advantage has been a surprising one, as Draisaitl ranked 10th with 27 points including 17 helpers on the power play last season.

Draisaitl’s return to form with a man-up would be a welcome addition to an Oilers power play which currently ranks 14th in the league with an 18.2 percent success rate.
