Cristiano Ronaldo thinks he’s the best soccer player in the world. Millions around the world agree with him. Millions don’t, but acknowledge his greatness.

And then there are the haters who go out and dominate their Sunday leagues and think they’re just as good as the reigning Ballon d’Or winner. Saturday’s Clasico was a win for those people. Because one first-half moment brought Ronaldo down to their level.

Ronaldo and Real Madrid had a disastrous day, losing 3-0 to Barcelona, and slipping to 14 points behind the La Liga leaders. Ronaldo had a particularly rough 90 minutes, and an especially embarrassing first half. His worst moment was a whiff on a left-footed shot attempt:

The Portuguese star has had a poor season since returning from a five-game suspension in September. Real Madrid has tumbled with him. Both are in for harsh criticism after the Clasico defeat.
