Washington wide receiver Brayden Lenius has been suspended for three games for an undisclosed violation of team rules, the team announced Tuesday.

Lenius, a junior, played in 13 games last year, started six, and caught 26 passes for 307 yards and three touchdowns.

Lenius will be out for the entirety of the Huskies’ nonconference slate, which includes games against Rutgers, Idaho and Portland State. He should be eligible to return for the Pac-12 opener against Arizona.

While Lenius was the team’s fourth-best receiver last season, the team has more than enough playmakers, including Dante Pettis, John Ross and Drew Sample, to make up the offense.
