Undrafted free-agent forward James Michael McAdoo signed a one-year contract paying the minimum with the Golden State Warriors, his agent James Tanner told Yahoo Sports on Tuesday.

McAdoo averaged 14.2 points and 6.8 rebounds as a junior at North Carolina last season before entering the 2014 NBA draft. After going undrafted, the 6-foot-9, 230-pounder averaged nine points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks for the Warriors at the Las Vegas summer league.

McAdoo and Warriors forward Harrison Barnes were teammates at North Carolina during the 2011-12 season. McAdoo's father is also the second cousin of Hall of Famer Bob McAdoo.
