Vitinha (24) is set to put pen to paper on a new long-term deal at Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano

After a difficult first campaign, Vitinha has made strides under Luis Enrique. The Spaniard even named the Portuguese midfielder his PSG player of the season back in May, whilst he continues to figure prominently during the current campaign (15 appearances, two goals in all competitions).

Since joining from FC Porto back in the summer of 2022, he has made 109 appearances for Les Parisiens and the reigning Ligue 1 champions see him as part of the long-term future. He is therefore set to be rewarded with a new long-term deal, Romano understands.

Vitinha’s current deal runs until 2027, however, he is set to sign an extension that will run until June 2029. The Portugal international’s salary will be improved and the final details are being arranged before the official signature.
