Video: Nate Diaz slaps interviewer backstage at UFC 276

The “Stockton Slap” made an appearance backstage at UFC 276.

The slapper was Nate Diaz, while the slapped was a Full Send MMA interviewer Shawny Mack who asked the UFC star if he was at the event to see Sean O’Malley compete.

While the legitimacy of the circumstances surrounding the slap were highly debated online and deemed likely a set-up by many viewers, others – including a few UFC-credentialed media members – claim Diaz was not happy with the interviewer because of some tweets.

The interview didn’t last long, as Diaz told the interviewer immediately to watch what he said online.

“Nah, (expletive),” Diaz said. “You better watch your tweets about my (expletive) (inaudible) recently.”

Diaz then swiped at the microphone before he smacked the “Happy Dad” hat right off of the Nelk Boys’ affiliate’s head.
