There’s always one player in your beer league that can fly off the handle way too easily. In this Russia amateur league Wednesday night, a call was disagreed with in entirely the wrong way.

Referee Nikita Tikhonov called a 10-minute penalty and was met with quite the disagreement from one specific player of the offending team. After not taking advice to calm down, the player then proceeded to swing his stick and hit the ref in the head and later deliver a punch while still arguing. The entire incident was all captured on the GoPro camera attached to Tikhonov’s helmet.

Officials are expected to meet Wednesday to decide on punishment for the player, with the possibility that the team is also expelled from the league. We’re betting on Tikhonov not having to worry about such attacks from that specific player ever again.

UPDATE: The Disciplinary Committee of Hockey Federation of the Republic of Buryatia met on Wednesday night and decided that the player in question, Sergei Petrov, is been banned from the league and his team will be broken up. His teammates will be available to be acquired via a transfer list. Two of Petrov’s teammates were suspended five games.
