HAMILTON — Jeremiah Masoli is back as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats' starting quarterback.

The Ticats listed Masoli as the starter for Saturday afternoon's home game against the Montreal Alouettes.

Masoli returns under centre after serving as the backup to David Watford for Hamilton's past two games.

Watford, who guided Hamilton to victories in both starts, will serve as Masoli's backup.

Masoli opened the season as Hamilton's starter before suffering a rib injury in the Ticats; 30-8 road loss to Saskatchewan on Aug. 14.

Dane Evans then replaced Masoli as Hamilton's starter before suffering a lower-body injury in the club's 17-16 road loss to the Toronto Argonauts on Sept. 10.
