Does packing for a trip ever stress you out? Well, it doesn’t have to. In this episode of ITK: Out of a Suitcase, host and travel expert Francesca Murray (@onegrloneworld) shows us her top tips and tricks to packing with ease. With the right suitcases and packing products, getting ready to go can be stress-free and easy.
“The trick to any successful trip is to pack in a smart and compact way,” Francesca says. “It’s also important to consider space and safety at all times.”
Francesca says that investing in quality luggage is the best way to ensure smooth travel experiences. She recommends the Béis carry-on roller and Béis large check-in roller because they have TSA-approved locks to keep your belongings safe, plus expandable designs to maximize your space.
“When I purchase new luggage, I tend to look for something hard-shelled because it’s more durable, and it just looks chic,” she adds.
When it comes to the inside of your suitcase, Francesca says that her favorite way to stay organized is to use packing cubes — like the CALPAK packing cubes 5-piece set. Packing cubes allow you to divide your items into categories so nothing gets misplaced. “I like to use packing cubes because they help me pack more efficiently and find what I need more easily,” Francesca says.
Finally, Francesca suggests using a tracker like the Apple AirTag in your luggage to reduce anxiety over lost luggage. “At least you know where it is!” she says.
