Mariah Carey is many things; she’s a best-selling music artist, a beloved diva, and a singer who possess a five-octave vocal range. Now, you can add protective mama bear to that list.

Joining Mariah Carey on stage in her first comeback performance in Las Vegas on Thursday were her 7-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

While Carey was singing her hit song “Always Be My Baby,” the twins were passing out T-shirts from a black plastic bag to front-row fans. Moroccan, either in an attempt to make sure he got all the free swag out to the fans or trying to be like his funny dad, Nick Cannon, put the plastic bag over his head.

In the video obtained by TMZ, Carey, who looks shocked at her son’s action, stops singing her song only briefly to say “Uh-oh, never do that” as she removes the bag from her son’s head. Then, ever the professional, she continues her song.

While plastic is convenient, it’s dangerous to keep around children, specifically infants. Plastic bags, on average, kill 20 children each year.

The “Touch My Body” singer is currently in residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace that will run until the end of September. Afterward, the 49-year-old superstar will begin her tenth headline tour and make her way through Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. Carey’s first Vegas residency started in 2015 and lasted two years.
