UFC to celebrate 4/20 in most original way possible
April 20, also known as 4/20, is Saturday and with it comes tons of jokes. This year, the UFC is hopping on the fun with a weed-friendly lineup on its Fight Pass streaming service.
Beginning at 1:53 a.m., UFC will broadcast the best of several fighters including Kelvin Gastelum and Nate Diaz. What do they all have in common? Well, at one point or another, they were suspended for marijuana use.
🎵Hey! Hey! Hey! Heeey!🎵 We know it's three days away but we're planting the seed now for a sublime Saturday on #UFCFIGHTPASS.

O’Malley debuted his own custom marijuana strain at his UFC 222 afterparty. Dubbed “Suga Show OG” he showcased it to his fans following his victory over Andre Soukhamthath at UFC 222.
While the rest of the lineup has yet to respond on social media, their association with marijuana has been well documented. For instance, Nick Diaz was suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for five years following a failed drug test at UFC 183. It was later reduced to 18 months.
Meanwhile, his brother Nate once infamously tried to light a joint at a televised UFC live event.
Until then, let the jokes pour on in.
