The final episodes of Dana White’s Contender Series, Season 6 are filling up.

DWCS 54, the eight week of the season, has added a bantamweight bout between “Let’s Go” Brandon Lewis (6-1) and Peru’s Daniel Marcos (12-0).

Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

The appearance will mark the second for Lewis on DWCS. In 2021, Lewis appeared on Season 5 when he lost a unanimous decision to Mo Miller. Since then, Lewis, 25, has gone 1-0 with a TKO victory due to injury for B2 Fighting Series in July.

Marcos, 29, has dominated the Peruvian regional scene en route to this opportunity. In 12 victories, Marcos notched seven finishes, all by TKO or knockout. He is the 300 Sparta bantamweight champion.

With the addition, the DWCS 54 lineup includes:

  • Ikram Aliskerov vs. Mario Sousa

  • Bruna Brasil vs. Marnic Mann

  • Allan Begosso vs. Farid Basharat

  • Brandon Lewis vs. Daniel Marcos
