UFC Goes Back-to-Back in New Las Vegas Venue as Part of December Tripleheader

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is going all-in this December, hosting its first tripleheader week in Las Vegas. The promotion will feature separate events on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday – Dec. 10, 11, and 12.

While the week is capped by the UFC 194: Aldo vs. McGregor pay-per-view event on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, UFC Fight Night 80: VanZant vs. Calderwood and The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale – on Thursday and Friday, respectively – will both take place at a new venue for the MMA juggernaut: The Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

The fights begin on Thursday, Dec. 10 as No. 6 strawweight contender Paige VanZant battles No. 8 Joanne Calderwood in the main event of UFC Fight Night 80 on the promotion's digital subscription service UFC Fight Pass. The following night No. 2 featherweight contender Frankie Edgar and No. 3 Chad Mendes serve as the marquee bout of The Ultimate Fighter: Team McGregor vs. Team Faber Finale. The TUF 22 Finale airs on FOX Sports 1.

The triple-threat weekend culminates Saturday, Dec. 12, when the first featherweight champion in UFC history, Jose Aldo, and interim champion Conor McGregor, finally settle their differences in the main event of UFC 194: Aldo vs. McGregor on pay-per-view.
