UFC on FOX 16 Weigh-in Results: Bantamweight Title Fight Officially Set

Third time's a charm… at least, that's what everyone is hoping after UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw and challenger Renan Barao both made weight on Friday to make their championship rematch official. The fight takes place in the UFC on FOX 16 main event on Saturday night in Chicago.

Dillashaw took the belt from Barao at UFC 173 last May. The two were scheduled for an immediate rematch at UFC 177 in August. Barao, however, had issues with his weight cut and had to go to the hospital, which forced him out of the fight. Dillashaw defended the belt against last-minute replacement Joe Soto.

That set up another attempt at a rematch between Dillashaaw and Barao at UFC 186 in April of this year. That bout was nixed after Dillashaw had to withdraw due to a rib injury.

Now, barring any last-minute catastrophes, the two will finally fight in the UFC on FOX 16 main event.
