The UFC returned to Florida on Saturday night, but made its first stop at the Amway Center in Orlando for UFC on FOX 11. The night was a resounding success for the company with an announced attendance of 17,000 witness several stellar performances.

UFC officials at the post-fight press conference announced the post-fight awards and fighter bonuses, which net the winners an additional $50,000 for their efforts.

The Fight of the Night award went to Thiago Alves and Seth Baczynski. Alves needed a strong performance, and likely the additional money, and he got both. He bloodied a very tough Baczynski over the course of their three rounds, winning a unanimous decision, while bother fighters go home with an additional $50,000.

Donald Cerrone is a consistent winner of fighter bonuses, and UFC on FOX 11 was no different. Cowboy took home one of the two Performance of the Night awards for surviving an early onslaught by Edson Barboza to drop the Brazilian with a jab and choke him out. It was Cerrone’s third consecutive post-fight bonus.

Alex White made his Octagon debut on Saturday night, knocking out Estevan Payan less than a minute and a half into the opening round. White not only kept his record unblemished at 10-0, but also took home the other Performance of the Night award.

Fabricio Werdum won the night’s main event, dominating Travis Browne and keeping his shot at the UFC heavyweight championship intact.
