UFC Fight Night Abu Dhabi Weigh-in Results: Nogueira vs. Nelson Set; Camozzi vs. Craig Nixed

The Ultimate Fighting Championship this week returns to Abu Dhabi for the first time since Anderson Silva was middleweight champion and defended his belt against Demian Maia at UFC 112 in April of 2010. This time around on Yas Island, former PRIDE and UFC champ Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira steps into the main event to face The Ultimate Fighter season 10 winner Roy Nelson in a battle for relevancy in the heavyweight division.

Nogueira (34-8-1, 1 NC) makes his return following a nearly year-long absence after he suffered an injury in losing via arm bar to Fabricio Werdum last June.

Nelson (19-9) is coming off of back-to-back losses to Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic. He is looking to the fight with the former champion to get his career back on track.

Nogueira and Nelson are slated for a five-round main event battle.

The Abu Dhabi fight card also features an explosive co-main event bout in the featherweight division between UFC mainstay Clay Guida and legendary Japanese fighter Tatsuya Kawajiri.

A planned middleweight match-up between Chris Camozzi and Andrew Craig was cancelled at the last minute due to illness, as Craig was suffering from tonsillitis. Both men will be paid their show money.
