Yahoo Sports UFC Fight Night 90 Medical Suspensions: 16 of the 24 Fighters Receive Suspensions
Eddie Alvarez dethroned lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos at UFC Fight Night 90 on July 7 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It was a brutal night of violence to kick off the first live event of International Fight Week, resulting in 16 of the 24 fighters on t he card receiving a medical suspension.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the medical suspensions stemming from the event on Tuesday, and three fighters could be sidelined fro six months.

– Rafael dos Anjos: suspended until 8/22/16 with no contact for 30 days.
– Derrick Lewis: suspended 30 days with no contact until 7/29/16
– Roy Nelson: suspended 30 days with no contact until 7/29/16
– Belal Muhammad: suspended until 9/06/16 with no contact until 8/22/16
– Alan Jouban: must have fractured left hand cleared by doctor, or suspended until 1/04/17 with a minimum suspension and no contest for 30 days
– Mitch Clarke: must have MRI of right knee and doctor clearance, or suspended until 1/04/17
– Mike Pyle: suspended until 9/06/16 with no contact until 8/22/16
– John Makdessi: suspended until 8/07/16 with no contact until 7/29/16 for left eyebrow laceration
– Dileno Lopes: suspended until 8/22/16 with no contact for 30 days
– Anthony Birchak: suspended until 9/06/16 with no contact until 8/22/16
– Pedro Munhoz: suspended until 8/22/16 with no contact for 30 days
– Russell Doane: must have his right foot x-rayed to rule out fracture, minimum suspension for 30 days with no contact until 7/29/16
– Lukasz Sajewski: suspended until 9/6/16 with no contact until 8/22/16
– Reginaldo Vieira: must have right orbital and nasal fractures cleared by doctor, or suspended until 1/04/17 with a minimum suspension until 9/06/16 with no contact until 8/22/16
– Marco Beltran: must have left knee x-rayed to rule out fracture and needs dental clearance fro three loose teeth
– Alvaro Herrera: suspended until 8/22/16 with no contact for 30 days
