UFC Fight Night 81 Fighter Salaries: Travis Browne Tops Payroll
Dominick Cruz may have won back the bantamweight belt that he never lost when he defeated TJ Dillashaw at UFC Fight Night 81 on Jan. 17 in Boston, but that doesn’t mean he stood atop the fighter payroll.
That distinction went to heavyweight Travis Browne, who defeated Matt Mitrione in an eye-poke filled feature fight on the main card.
Cruz was a close second, taking home a $110,000 payday.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Safety on Friday released the disclosed payroll to MMAWeekly.com.
The disclosed fighter payroll does not include discretionary bonuses, Reebok apparel bonuses, pay-per-view points, endorsements, or other income not included on bout agreements.
UFC Fight Night 81: Dillashaw vs. Cruz took place Jan. 17 at TD Garden in Boston.
