UFC Fight Night 62 Medical Suspensions: Ryan LaFlare and Five Others Out Up to Six Months

Things definitely did not go Ryan LaFlare’s way in the UFC Fight Night 62 main event on Saturday night. Not only did he lose a unanimous decision to Demian Maia, he also topped a list of six fighters that face the possibility of being sidelined for the next six months.

LaFlare went the full five rounds with Maia and injured his hand somewhere along the way. The Brazilian commission suspended LaFlare for six months unless he gets an x-ray and medical clearance for his right hand.

The five others that could be out for six months include Shayna Baszler, Gilbert Burns, Kevin Souza, Cain Carrizosa, and Bentley Syler.
