UFC Fight Night 61 Medical Suspensions: Bigfoot Out for Two Months
Frank Mir scored the knockout victory over Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in the UFC Fight Night 61 main event on Sunday night in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in just 100 seconds.
That was the bad news for Silva. The good news? He didn't take a lot of punishment, so he'll only have to serve a 60-day medical suspension stemming from the knockout loss.
There were four knockouts on the card, including a stunning superman-punch knockout inflicted by Matt Dwyer, but none of the fighters were assessed more than a 60-day suspension.
Every fighter on the card received at least a 14-day mandatory rest period.
