UFC Fight Night 233 weigh-in results: One fighter misses for penultimate event of 2023

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC Fight Night 233 fighter weigh-ins.

The weigh-ins take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The same venue hosts Saturday’s event, which streams on ESPN+.

Among those weighing in were Song Yadong (20-7-1 MMA, 9-2-1 UFC) and Chris Gutierrez (20-4-2 MMA, 8-2-1 UFC), who meet in the bantamweight main event, and former light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith (37-18 MMA, 12-8 UFC) and Khalil Rountree (12-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC), who fight in the co-feature.

Of the 22 fighters on the card, all but one missed weight for their respective bouts. Luana Santos, who was moving up from the women’s flyweight division, missed the women’s bantamweight limit by three pounds.
