UFC Adds Two Fight Night Cards to the Lineup for Summer 2014

The UFC will hold UFC Fight Night cards in Atlantic City, N.J., and Tulsa, Okla., this summer, UFC president Dana White said on Saturday.

White announced during the UFC on FOX 11 post-fight news conference that the Atlantic City card will happen on July 16 and the Tulsa card will happen on Aug. 23.

Fights for the upcoming fight cards were not announced. Both events will broadcast on FOX Sports 1.

The last time the UFC visited Atlantic City was in June of 2012, a card that featured Gray Maynard winning a split decision over Clay Guida in the main event. The promotion has been to the city seven times in its history.

Tulsa has seen far fewer UFC shows, and none in the Zuffa era. The last time the organization visited the region, Royce Gracie was still competing and one-night tournaments were the norm. In fact, Gracie competed at the last Tulsa UFC card, winning the tournament at UFC 4, beating Dan Severn by triangle choke.
