UFC 197: Jones vs. Saint Preux took place on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena featuring the return of former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

With such a high profile fight on the card, as well as the flyweight championship, several fighters rose to the occasion, but only four could go home with the UFC's official post-fight bonuses in hand.

Demetrius Johnson, Yair Rodríguez, Danny Roberts, and Dominique Steele earned the performance-based bonuses and banked an extra $50,000 each.

Roberts and Steele were awarded Fight of the Night honors for their welterweight war on the preliminary card. Roberts overcame getting knocked down in the opening round to win the second frame. The fight had spirited exchanges, but Roberts' ability to put Steele on his back earned him a unanimous decision victory.

Johnson defended his 125-pound title for the eighth time in the fight card's co-main event, defeating formerly unbeaten Olympic Gold Medalist Henry Cejudo. Johnson's clinch was took much for Cejudo. The champion delivered knees to the body that hurt the challenger and put Cejudo away midway through the opening round. The win earned the champion a Performance of the Night bonus and heated up the conversation about who is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

Rodriguez took home the second Performance of the Night award for his spectacular knockout of Andre Fili to kick off the UFC 197 main card. The Ultimate Fighter Latin America featherweight tournament winner unleashed a flying head kick that landed flush on the jaw of Fili causing a sudden halt to the bout.
