Adrian Klemm’s time at UCLA has reportedly come to an end.

Klemm, the team’s offensive line coach since 2011 and one of the best recruiters in the Pac-12, has been let go by the program, according to multiple reports. Scout.com first reported the news, which comes just a few weeks before national signing day.

Klemm is currently under a two-year show-cause penalty because of NCAA violations. Klemm, the NCAA said, “admitted to paying $2,400 for housing and private training sessions on behalf of two prospects.” As a result, Klemm was suspended by the NCAA from March 2015 to June 2015. The team then suspended Klemm for the first two games of the 2015 season. He was also fined.

According to the Los Angeles Daily News, UCLA “would have been required to submit an oversight plan to the NCAA until 2018” if Klemm stayed on staff.

UCLA, which finished 4-8, gave up 24 sacks and had the second-worst rushing offense in the country in 2016. That sack total ballooned from 14 sacks in 2015.

UCLA now has two vacancies on its offensive staff under new offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch, who came over from Michigan. Fisch was brought in by Bruins head coach Jim Mora after Kennedy Polamalu was fired following his only year as UCLA’s offensive coordinator. Mora previously promoted Polamalu from running backs coach.
