Two new popular spots for pizza and Italian ice open sister locations. One is in Macon

Two popular foodie spots in Warner Robins just opened their second locations, including one in Macon.

One is a pizza place known for its unique name and specialty pizzas. The other is a dessert shop known for its Italian ice as well as its signature frozen treat.

The dessert shop is a franchise store owned by two sisters who graduated from Houston County High School. The takeout pizza place was started by three men in Warner Robins.

Both businesses took off by word of mouth and rave reviews on social media. Also, each is set to open a third Middle Georgia location this summer.

Co-owners Josh Walsh, John Wright and J.P. Williams opened their first location late last year at 6001 Watson Blvd. also in a shopping strip at the corner of U.S. 41 and Watson Blvd.

Popular specialty pizzas include the cowboy with white sauce, steak, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. Another is a cheeseburger pizza with ground beef, onions, cheese and special sauce and then topped with lettuce, tomato and pickles when it comes out of the oven.

Other customer favorites include smoked wings with mango habanero or kickin’ bourbon sauces and desserts such as cowboy cookies and cheesecake brownie stromboli.

The menu is the same at the new Macon location, which has a few tables and chairs but is geared for takeout.
