NBA Twitter was on fire after the Knicks fell in the lottery and Pelicans won

The New Orleans Pelicans — not the New York Knicks — will pick first in the 2019 NBA draft and have the opportunity to select Zion Williamson. Additionally, the Los Angeles Lakers moved up to fourth overall, setting Twitter ablaze as the results were revealed on ESPN on Tuesday.

The Memphis Grizzlies, who will pick second, summed up everyone’s collective reactions perfectly.

Knicks fans set up at bars around New York City and even held a draft lottery party.

But this fan who got a Zion tattoo before the lottery will have to live with disappointment forever as the Knicks were given the third pick.
