On Tuesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers agreed to a bombshell trade in which the team sent disgruntled point guard Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and a 2018 first-rounder. As expected, Twitter lost its collective mind on the heels of the most dramatic trade in a whirlwind NBA offseason.

Let’s start with the Celtics faithful having mixed feelings about acquiring an NBA champion, but losing a player who is responsible for helping revitalize the franchise.

Cleveland fans were fairly blunt about how they felt about Irving’s departure.

The LeBron-Irving duo is no more.

J.R. Smith is going to have to get used to a new, shorter point guard in Cleveland.

Knicks fans are unsurprisingly disappointed that they were unable to land the West Orange, New Jersey native in Irving.

What are the ramifications for LeBron James’ impending free agency next offseason?

Even other NBA players had to weigh in on the deal.

Uh oh…

Will Dwyane Wade be joining IT and LeBron in Cleveland via a buyout in the future?

@World_Wide_Wob ‏perfectly summed up this absolutely insane NBA offseason.
